From the article: Enjoy a Salad as a Meal
Is a salad something you eat while you're waiting for your meal? A little iceberg lettuce, a few croutons, some tomatoes or cucumbers, all topped with dressing. Or do you like a salad as a meal, like a Chef salad, a Cobb salad, or maybe Caesar salad?
Eating a salad can be a delicious way to get several servings of fruit and vegetables into your daily diet. What's your favorite salad? Do you make it at home or is it something special you find only at your favorite restaurant? Share Your Salad
salad alternative
- I use fresh broccoli in the place of Lettuce, since it has more nutritional value, and makes a crunchy more satisfying salad, add fresh cauliflower also with low fat cottage cheese celery onions and crushed garlic and pepper -No dressing needed

Micronutrient Salad
- My new favorite Salad I discovered watching Dr. Joe Fuhrman On Ch. 11. Just add Mushrooms, Strawberries, sunflower seeds, a mix of dark greens and 1 chopped red chile pepper with a little lite Italian dressing.

Favorite Salad?
- Really mixed with a balance of mixed fruits/vegetables with a low-fat dressing or rather a Balsamic vinegar of some sort, along with a protein-based food as fish/ham/egg or combination.
