Why I decided to lose weight

I decided to lose weight because we had a "biggest loser" contest where I work.

How I lost the weight.

At first I cut down on my portions and exercised at least 4 times a week. Basically, I ran on a treadmill or I did some light weight training. I started out at 210 pounds and got down to 187 but I couldn't get any lower. I then joined a crossfit gym and got on The Zone Diet. I am now down to 168 and have been at that weight for over 6 months now.

Tips and Tricks

  • Replace whatever you are drinking with water and drink at least 64 ounces per day
  • Exercise at least 3 times a day and make sure you work hard enough to break a good dripping sweat.
  • Don't eat after 7pm
  • Don't worry about what you weigh at first, but concentrate on how your clothes fit.
  • Find a good diet and stick to it. I suggest The Zone Diet because you eat 5 times a day. You can't reach your weight loss goals without good nutrition and it must be a change in lifestyle or you WILL gain it back
