A lot of people have trouble digesting milk or are allergic to dairy products. If you don't want cows' milk or dairy, try these alternatives:
- Soy milk (buy direct) - soy isoflavones are good for your health, unless you have thyroid problems.
- Rice milk - lighter tasting than soy milk. Rice milk is great for pouring on your breakfast cereal.
- Almond milk - this has a nice nutty flavor and there are some delicious chocolate flavored almond milks too.
- Goats' milk - when it is fresh, goats' milk is very similar to cows' milk and makes a great alternative for many people.
