my secret tricks
- I have one of those very large plastic cups from the gas sttion (52 oz). I fill it up in the morning with herbal tea to drink all morning, then around lunch time I fill it back up with lemon ice water. This takes me through bedtime. It stays by my bed at night to sip on when I wake up. Thats 104 oz. of water. Yes it sounds like a lot but I dont always drink ALL of it plus I drink 2 cups of coffee in the morning so I have to make up for that caffeine.

Bedside
- I have a 500ml (12 oz) glass mug that I place on my bedside table when I go to bed (covered). I wake up dehydrated (sometimes through the night) so it's there ready first thing. I also tend to have a glass around my place or work and find that I sip my way through the rest of my water throughout the day and evening.

How Many Glasses Of Water Do YOU Need?
- Depending on a few factors, each person needs different amts of water each day. Today I need, 2-liters, unless I include fruits & veggies in my diet. In that case I only need 1.6 liters ;) Check this out!! It's pretty cool! I don't LOVE water~Some of you have to feel the same!

Love nalgene bottles
- Actually 'guest walkingstick', even with a healthy diet, only ~20% of water comes from food. You should be drinking anywhere from 1.5-2.5 litres of water a day (two 32oz nalgene bottles a day! I carry mine with me everywhere).

Crystal light
- Don't drink Crystal light. It's nothing but chemicals.

Ginger Water
- I use ice water in a 32-0z plastic mug & drop in a small chunk of fresh ginger. This infuses the water with a refreshing taste that is not sweet.

flavor naturally
- I try my best to get my suggested intake of water but sometimes it feels like a chore to chug it down and it makes me less inclined to pick up my water bottle again so I started thinking about ways to enhance my water's flavor besides lemon or lime juice. I found that finely dicing fruits like cherries, strawberries, and kiwis and shaking them up in the water really makes the difference. Best part is you can mix your flavors. Yummy! I mean I'm an 18 year-old woman who works and goes to school full time, plain water isn't the first thing I think of for a tastey pick-me-up. :)

Soda? Coffee? Tea?
- Actually if you are drinking anything with caffeine, you are sabotaging yourself. Drink a 12 oz can of cola and you have to drink 12 oz of plain water just to get you back to zero. This is especially important if you are in a hot dry climate. You can be dehydrated even when you are drinking all day, if you are drinking the wrong things.

Wealth Coach Stephanie
- Keeping a bottle of water by my bed allows me to hydrate whenever I wake up thirsty. Because I sleep with an air filter on, and in air conditioning, that can happen; then, I drink 16 oz of water on rising; a lot of "hunger pangs" are really dehydration; drink water first, then see if you really need to eat!

Try This Trick!
- Just by drinking water through a straw you can consume more per intake more often than you normally would through gulping down water.

I find water boring
- I do not like drinking water. I find it boring. But I manage to get 80-100oz down per day. My little secret is that I love just a small squeeze of lemon in my water. Problem with that is that you can't carry a lemon with you everywhere. I found a product at Kroger called 'True Lemon'. This stuff is amazing! I hate the drink mixes that are supposed to give your water "attitude" and just make it sugary or taste like fake sweeteners. Yuk! Then I found True Lemon. That is all it is. Pure and simple. It is crystallized lemon... and that is it. No sweeteners, it really tastes like you just squeezed a little lemon in your water. They come in little packets that are about 1 lemon wedge a pack. I carry a 20 oz. bottle with me all day every day and 4-5 of these little packets in my pocket. At the end of the day all of them are gone and I know I am well hydrated! Bonus side note, I am very prone to kidney stones. The water helps well enough, but lemon helps to prevent them from forming at all!

Water
- By using a glass to drink water I can literally tip a large volume of water down my throat quickly and more comfortably then by drinking from a bottle's smaller opening. I find it takes alot longer to ingest the same amount of water from a bottle, as the water is mixed with a lot more air, and flows much slower.

Drink Water first thing in the morning
- To help me get thru my daily quota of water, I drink at least 8 oz of water as soon as I brush my teeth in the morning. It gets me started in my daily in-take of water.
