Helping Kids Like Vegetables

Some research shows that many kids may be highly sensitive to bitter tastes, so change the taste of the vegetables. If your child loves mac and cheese, add some good nutrition by adding cooked peas or carrots. Try using your kids' favorite chip dip for crunchy vegetables instead of chips.

Kids will often eat the starchier vegetables like corn, potatoes and carrots. Try adding a few green vegetables to the starchier vegetables.

Does your picky eater have you at your wit's end? Relax... and read "One Bite Won't Kill You" (buy direct) by Ann Hodgman. This humorous guide will help you handle your picky eaters.
