Make a Healthier Pizza

Pizza tends to be high in fats and calories. You can make your own pizza so you can control the toppings. Start with a whole grain crust and pizza sauce that you buy at the grocery store. Add a sprinkling of low fat cheese and top with tomatoes, mushrooms, olives, and other vegetables like broccoli and spinach.

Stay away from high-fat meats, and processed meat products like sausage and pepperoni. For a delicious crispy crust, use a pizza stone for baking.
