Eat More Green Beans

The humble green bean is a great low calorie vegetable. One cup of cooked green beans has only 44 calories and is a good source of calcium, vitamin C, lutein, beta-carotene and potassium. Green beans are delicious when served raw with veggie dip or you can dress up your cooked green beans by serving them with almonds, lemon juice, and a dash of nutmeg.
