Your body doesn't make or store vitamin C so it needs to be replenished frequently. Vitamin C is important for your immune system and for healthy connective tissue, gums and teeth. Vitamin C is found in many fruits and vegetables, but it is a good idea to take a vitamin C supplement to make sure you are getting enough of this important vitamin.
