Healthier Hamburger Tip

Make hamburgers healthier by using ground turkey or a lean game meat like bison or venison. Serve your burger on a whole grain roll instead of a white hamburger bun and use lots of lettuce, tomatoes, red onions and avocado slices.

Use a hamburger press (buy direct) to make uniform patties for more even cooking - very important when using ground turkey that must be cooked thoroughly.
