Pumpkin Seeds

Pumpkin seeds are a great source of omega-3 essential fatty acids and protein so they make a great snack. You can purchase pumpkin seeds or roast your own at home in your oven. Soak cleaned pumpkin seeds in salt-water over night then spread them on a baking sheet. Put the pumpkin seeds in the oven at 275 degrees until they turn a golden brown.
