Finding Hidden Sugar

Refined sugar adds calories but no real nutritional value to food. Using an occasional teaspoon of sugar on your cereal isn't so bad, and you can control the amount, but look for the hidden sugar by reading labels. Look for sugar, sucrose and high fructose corn syrup (HFCS) in the ingredients lists on food packages.
