Roasted Pears with Feta

Nosh on this sweet, gooey, cheesy pear sensation, packed with 10% of the daily dose of calcium, which actually helps you lose weight. With permission from Women's Health Magazine
Prep Time: 10 minutes
Cook Time: 20 minutes
Ingredients:
  • 1 bosc pear
  • 1 1-inch cube feta cheese, crumbled
  • salt and pepper to taste
Preparation:
  1. Preheat oven to 425°F. Wash, halve, and core pear. Spray each half with cooking spray; place on baking sheet, skin-side down. Sprinkle lightly with salt and pepper. Bake for 20 minutes.
  2. Remove from oven. Allow to cool slightly, and then sprinkle with feta.
