Question: I want to start eating healthy, but will I get too skinny?
I'm normally a thin person. I eat healthy food along with fatty food, but I want to start eating healthy. I want to start working on my abs but if I start to cut down my fat intake am I going to lose the fat off my body which will leave me really skinny? What can I do?

Answer: Eating healthy doesn't mean you should cut all of the fat out of your diet. You want to cut out the unhealthy fats like trans fats, partially-hydrogenated fats and saturated fats. You want to keep the polyunsaturated fats in your diet, especially the omega-3 essential fatty acids.

Don't know which fats are which? About.com's Low Fat Cooking guide sorts out the fats in her article Understanding Fats.

Basically the fats found in vegetables, nuts, seeds and fish are good for you and the fats used for deep fat frying, processed foods, margarine and junk food snacks are bad for you.

If you eat healthy foods and get enough calories every day, you shouldn't lose weight.
