HOWEVER, farm-raised salmon also contains high levels of a highly inflammatory compound called arachidonic acid. In fact, the inflammatory effects of the arachidonic acid in farm-raised salmon more than cancels out the health benefits of the omega-3 fats it contains. When choosing salmon for your health, be sure to choose wild-caught salmon.
