in regards to the microwave idea just throw the potato in the trash if ur gonna nuke it as with anything that goes into the cancerbox its totally worthless nutrientwise after and will help kill u over time.just my 2 cents if u want info just google microwaves/radiation cooking and see it for yourself.

Nice article about potatoes. This post proves that potatoes are really useful for the health but i think one should not eat too much fried potatoes.
Potato is definitely good as a tuber. In naturopathy, all those gifts from nature which get more sunshine and are at the top of the trees are good for health of man. Potato is a tuber. Most of the tubers are for the consumption of animals like pigs. But I do agree that there are herbs, roots, tubers which have medicinal value and are meant for man as and when he needs them. I therefore believe that potatoes are good when they are without fertiliser, and organically grown and when they are not fried in oil, but eaten raw or just cooked without over-cooking, to get the best of them. Frying makes them poisons and toxins in our body.
Even applying potatoe raw ground wet paste , below the eyes, removes the black rings around eyes.
But take care to c that they dont contain fertiliser residues.

potato is somewhat a staple food for americans in one way or another. i myself eat a potato dish every other day i think. and upon reading this post my love for this tuber have grow. eating the right amount of it and preparing it right would sure bring good health in every one.
