Portion Size
Tuesday December 2, 2008
In order to manage a healthy diet, you need to understand portion sizes. This is especially true when you eat foods that are naturally higher in calories. While three or four servings of green beans at dinner time may not make much of a dent in your daily calorie count, the extra servings of steak or potatoes sure will. Here are some tips for watching portion sizes.
Poll:How do you control portions when you dine out?

Thanks for the article. A good tip that my husband an I practice when we go out to eat is we order one entree and split it. It’s cheaper, just as satisfying and stays within the proper portions.
I am sure you have read the recent press on how Acupuncture may help with appetite control. I have found it wonderfully helpful.
