Donuts With a Caffeine Buzz

Saturday January 27, 2007
Most of us are used to the idea of starting the morning with an eye-opening cup or two of coffee, but Dr. Robert Bohannon has created Buzz Donuts so non-coffee drinkers can get their caffeine fix too.

"Some people get their caffeine buzz from soda, chocolate and other sources besides coffee," says Dr. Bohannon. "The Buzz Donut and the Buzzed Bagel lets them get the caffeine buzz by simply eating a delicious pastry item."

Caffeine in small amounts is fine and is often used to improve the effectiveness of over the counter pain relievers. Large amounts of caffeine can make you feel jittery, cause you to lose sleep and can trigger anxiety. Caffeine is found not only in coffee, but in tea, chocolate, some sodas and energy drinks. While the idea of caffeinated donuts might sound kind of fun, I doubt if we really need any more caffeine sources, especially ones that include sugar and the unhealthy fats found in donuts.

This guy is insane. Non coffee drinkers can get caffeine without sugar, fats, and other unhealthy additives by drinking caffeinated waters.

No wonder America is so over weight. It’s idiots like these who create addictive foods more addictive and more fattening.
