Getting Your Fruits and Vegetables

Wednesday December 6, 2006
We need at least 5 to 9 servings of fruits and vegetables each day. While the best way to get these servings is by eating fresh fruits and vegetables either raw or cooked every day, some people have a difficult time getting all of those servings into their daily diet. One way to help you get enough of the nutrients and anti-oxidants is to add a dietary supplement made from fruits and vegetables. Read about my favorite green drink fruit and vegetable powder supplement.

Other ways to get extra fruits and vegetables into your diet:

  • Pack raisins or other dried fruit as snacks
  • Choose raw vegetables instead of greasy chips to scoop up your favorite dip
  • Eat a salad instead of fried with a sandwich
