Portion Control

One of the reasons so many of us are overweight or obese is because we often indulge in large portions at meal time. This is especially true in restaurants where we often see huge plates of food served to hungry customers who want a lot of food for the money. We know from studies that if you put a big plate of food in front of us, we are going to eat all of the food on that plate, whether we are still hungry or not. Simply stated, we eat too much. Here are some tips for watching your portion sizes at meal times.
