Healthy Summer Foods
A lot of us change our eating habits in the summer. The warmer weather puts us in the mood for salads, and lighter meals. Some of us also lighten up our calorie counts to lose that extra weight that built up over a long winter.
If you are looking for lighter, summer meals and treats, I have some ideas for you:
- Try eating berries. They are delicious and so healthy for you.
- Try some low fat pea and mint soup that can be served hot or cold.
- A spinach and strawberry salad is loaded with vitamins.
- Eat more carrots. Carrots are good for your vision, and they may prevent some cancers.
