I remember picking wild black raspberries in northwestern Minnesota when I was a kid. It seemed like a treacherous affair to a seven year old girl, fighting the mosquitos, thorns, and burning nettle to get to the berries, but it was worth it just to taste those sweet little treasures.

Those little wild black raspberries, as well as other types of berries, are not only tasty, but very good for your health. They contain vitamins and phytochemicals for only a few calories per serving. Here is some information on adding berries to your diet.
