Olive Oil and Breast Cancer

New research from Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine in Chicago discovered that oleic acid, which is found in olive oil, reduces the amount of a cancer-triggering gene often found in high levels in many women who have breast cancer.

Olive oil has previously been found to help prevent coronary artery disease, and now food companies can make that claim on their labels. This means that olive oil is beneficial for our health as well as being a great oil for cooking, and should be included in our diets.
